Celebrate Hanukkah with eight days and nights of award-winning films playing November 28 – December 5.

Fascinating documentary on the Chuetas of Majorca, who are believed to be descendants of the island’s Inquisition-era Jewish population, forced to renounce their Judaism by the Catholic Church in the 15th century. Plays with short films Unraveling and The Broken Candle.

Two generations of Israeli women fall for a German woman and a Palestinian man, in this comic love story full of misadventure and discovery.

Mish Mish w/ The Tattooed Torah

In a basement near Paris, a treasure-trove of Egyptian animated films from the Frenkel brothers is discovered. The three creators of Mish-Mish Effendi, the region’s Mickey Mouse, reveal an Arab-Jewish golden age long-forgotten. Plays with short film The Tattooed Torah.
