Safety Guidelines

JxJ is committed to the health and safety of our patrons, our artists, and our staff. All activity at JxJ and within the EDCJCC will continue to be in accordance with regulations from the DC government and CDC.

Our building has been operating safely all year, with both a preschool and a gym, giving us substantial opportunity to refine our health and safety measures. Cafritz Hall boasts a new and state-of-the-art HVAC system, including a dedicated outdoor air system that brings 100% fresh air into our auditorium every 8 minutes.

VACCINATION

All individuals will be required to show proof of full vaccination* each time they enter the EDCJCC building (where JxJ programming and Cafritz Hall are located) by presenting either digital documentation on a smartphone or a physical copy of their vaccination card. Individuals with medical or religious exemptions to vaccinations will be required to show proof of a NEGATIVE Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of their arrival to the EDCJCC.

*Fully vaccinated means either that 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of an FDA- or WHO-authorized double-dose vaccine or since receiving the sole dose of an FDA- or WHO-authorized single dose vaccine.

MASKS

In accordance with CDC guidelines and DC law, indoor masking is required.

CREDITS & PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS

Should any future program be cancelled due to health concerns, full refunds will be issued (or credits for those who prefer).

We are grateful for the sustained support our audience has shown the last year. As we welcome you back to Cafritz Hall this fall, we invite you to continue to invest in our work through the use of the credits as a result of the past year’s cancellations and postponements.

Any unused credits will be available for use on your Spektrix account via the JxJ website. Credits are good through June 2023. Reach out to our Ticket Office at boxoffice@jxjdc.org for help using your credits.
